INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE

Cheniere Energy 

Job Title: Supply Chain Management Intern

During the summer of 2020, I worked for Cheniere Energy in Houston, Texas as a supply chain management intern. Due to Covid-19, the internship took place within a virtual working environment which required self-discipline and self-motivation to thrive. Within this internship, I initiated a departmental reporting analytics project that involved defining and refining KPIs overseen by supply chain management's vice president. For the project, I communicated with many managers and key stakeholders to obtain information, that was at times ambiguous, to then in turn filter and sort through to only streamline crucial information and knowledge.

Stuller Inc. 

Job Title: Customer Experience Operations Intern

During the summer of 2019, I worked for Stuller in Lafayette, Louisiana as a customer experience operations intern. Within this role I performed a time study and analysis of program sales’ day-to-day operations and communicated results to company leadership. I also instigated development towards an official jewelry sample shipment process for product to internally travel, efficiently.  Lastly, I Presented findings and next steps of my projects to the board of directors and 50+ complany employees to enhance customer experience and grow business through a 17 minute long, end of internship presentation.

Norfolk Southern 

Job Title: Car Administration Intern

During the summer of 2017, I worked for Norfolk Southern in Atlanta, Georgia as a car administration intern within their mechanical group. In this role I compiled, organized, and updated rail car data within their mainframe system. I also was in charge of approving and rejecting applications for rail cars to be loaded on behalf of the mechanical department, through analyzing data collected by detectors located on train tracks. I gained a lot of insight through this experience about operations and practices within the railroad and transportation industry.

Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance (GBRIA)

Job Title: Safety, Health, and Workforce Development Intern 

During the summer of 2016, I worked for the Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance (GBRIA) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana as a safety, health, and workforce development intern. Within this role I provided excellent customer service while acting as a liaison between the auditor, service company, and GBRIA while processing OSHA standard Safety Audits. I also increased day-to-day work efficiency by implementing the program, Slack, and dual screen monitors.
